How does Red Light Therapy work?
Our RenuvaSkin L3200 treats your entire body in a relaxing 15-minute session and emits NO UV whatsoever. Red Light Therapy is characterized as infrared light, which is a unique type of light that has a stronger wavelength than other types of light. This enables it to penetrate deeper into the skin and provides many therapeutic benefits including improvement in the skin’s appearance and structure as well as relief from pain, inflammation, and swelling. There is NO UV light associated with Red Light Therapy.

Is low level laser therapy safe?
To date, studies show no adverse events from low level laser therapy. Red light therapy (RLT) is generally safe when used as directed, but there are some risks to consider: RLT is non-toxic, non-invasive, and does NOT use ultraviolet (UV) light. However, if used incorrectly, RLT can cause skin or eye damage. Common side effects include mild pain or irritated skin. At high levels, RLT can cause blistering and redness. RLT can damage your eyes, so it requires that you wear protective goggles. The long-term safety of RLT devices is not yet known
