    Dr. Darrick Lawson

Dr. Darrick Lawson has been freeing people from pain since 1991: first in his clinic in Visalia, California, and since 2000 in Midtown Sacramento, California.

As a skilled and experienced Chiropractor, he is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.

Dr. Lawson uses a 'whole person approach' when taking care of his patients. By combining the very best hands-on-techniques, state of the art physiotherapy procedures, and the newest and best natural vitamins and mineral supplements on the market today, Dr. Lawson is able to help you to accelerate your journey to good health.

In his own words, Dr. Lawson states:

'It has always been my goal to provide a place for healing. I approach chiropractic from the knowledge that every function in your body is under the direct control of your brain and nerve system. All body systems, such as digestion, immunity, circulation, elimination, only occur if the brain sends the appropriate signal.

'When misalignments ('subluxations') of the spine occur, this can block the ability of the brain to communicate to the cells of the body. This pinching of the spinal nerves doesn't always result in pain. Science tells us that only 10% of our body's nerves feel pain. You see, a digestive nerve only digests, it does not feel pain. A nerve for taste only tastes, it doesn't feel pain. Therefore, if your subluxations are putting pressure on the 90% of nerves that do not feel pain, severe health conditions can still be the result of misalignment.

'Simply put, if your brain cannot communicate with the organs and systems of your body, you will not be able to function to your highest potential. This is a tragedy.

'No matter your health condition, it makes sense to insure that you have full nerve flow to each and every cell of your body for optimal health and happiness. We use multiple techniques to accomplish this goal. My chiropractic techniques include diversified hands on adjusting, biophysics correctional adjusting, as well as light and non-force techniques. I hope you will call today for an immediate appointment! The consultation is always FREE!'

    Mickey

Mickey is Cockapoo and is a laugh a minute.  He enjoys playing fetch with patients, the staff, and you will often find him playing in the hallways with the other members of his family.  He takes naps in the most inappropriate places, so watch where you step – it might not be a rug, but Mickey.

    Scooter

Scooter belongs to our office manager Sara. Full of energy and spunk, he's our 'instigator of trouble.' He loves to egg on his fellow staffers to play and will likely be seen stealing all of their toys. But after a morning of play, he will likely fall asleep in the waiting room chair next to you.

  • Louis
    Louis

Louis joined our family the fall of 2022. He was born with a cleft palate and surrendered at birth to a loving rescue and was raised by a loving foster family until we adopted him. He enjoys cuddles, snuggles, roughhousing, and being generally adorable.

  • jessi
    Jessi

Jessi was re-homed from a loving family. She has been with us since 2018 and came to us at about 4 years old. She has a very odd personality which leads you to think that she is always grumpy, but she is just drawn that way....for the most part. She enjoys spending time as close to daddy as she can get, car rides, trips to the vet, and visiting our friend's ranch. Yes, she is odd, she enjoys trips to the vet.

  • Lucy
    Lucy

Lucy was with the same foster family with Louis, where they first bonded. She has a cleft lip and palate and was also surrendered at birth to the same rescue as Louis. She is a hilarious lady, and keeps us all smiling with her constant antics. She enjoys playing with Louis, biting Mickey's tail, and endlessly trying to get Jessi to play with her.
